Correlating data from different sources can also provide useful insights, such as tracking power consumption in your building HVAC (heating, ventilating, air-conditioning) system against external weather data to see how climate conditions influence your power usage.
IVT has built systems that allow even small business and domestic environments to be monitored economically, such as a power consumption reporting system that uses clip-on sensors to measure the load through a building switchboard.
This data can then be transmitted automatically via the Internet to a central data storage facility where it is collated and displayed using interactive online graphs and interfaces like those shown above.
