ECIA is thrilled to be the 100th Association to get on board with Association Online.

Early Childhood Intervention Australia (ECIA) is the peak national organisation promoting the interests of young children with disabilities and developmental delays and their families. ECIA has a national and State/Territory structure, with the majority of members being early childhood intervention (ECI) professionals working in Government-funded agencies. These include small community organisations, large disability and children’s services agencies and various government departments, reflecting the diverse ways in which services to young children and their families are provided nationally. Our membership also includes family members of young children with disabilities and developmental delays. Members are based in urban, rural and regional centres throughout the country.

ECIA endorses practices that promote, encourage and support the provision of high quality services and community inclusion for all children and their families. These lay the foundation for each individual’s successful participation as a valued member within our diverse community.

Association Online is assisting ECIA to develop a website that will enable members and interested parties to access high quality information about the latest developments in the ECI field as well as professional development available, both on a national and state/territory level.
The addition of the Clique online community module is a welcome addition to the makeup of our website and will be of invaluable assistance in enabling ECIA to facilitate discussions about key issues as well as provide an opportunity for interaction and networking between members within the private space of the ECIA website.  It will also provide an avenue for members to engage directly with the work of ECIA.

ECIA would like to thank Association Online for their generosity in providing this module free of charge to ECIA as a benefit of being the 100th Association Online customer.
