Brilliant Web Aplications

Jonathan Oxer - Director of Internet Vision Technologies

Through many years helping Australian nonprofits grow by implementing their online presence, Internet Vision Technologies has learnt what makes our nonprofits unique. We recognise that Australia’s benevolent structure is different to other countries, and we want to help our nonprofits engage the community in different ways to strengthen the giving process in Australia.

One strategy we’ve taken to reach that goal is our recent launch of “Nonprofit Online” to help Australian nonprofits streamline their operations to engage supporters, reduce their administrative overhead, and service their cause more effectively.

We launched the new product, based on our existing proven platform, at the Connecting Up 2011 conference at the Crown Conference Centre in Melbourne at the start of June. The response has been amazing, confirming for us that we are offering a product that can be of real benefit to Australia’s nonprofit sector.

We were also excited to sit in on a presentation from one of our clients, Wesley Cooke, at the conference. You may remember him from our profile on ACC International Relief in our April Newsletter. He did a brilliant job demonstrating to a packed room how technology can revolutionize nonprofit management, in a session titled "Amazing Timing, Outstanding Results". His presentation explained how ACC used IVT's new Nonprofit Online package to raise millions of dollars in just a few months for causes including the Queensland flood appeal and the Japanese Tsunami relief effort, with very little administrative overhead.

Read more about Nonprofit Online in this month’s newsletter.

The more we researched Nonprofit Online, the more we realised how much our clients appreciate that our products are locally developed for our culture and regulatory environment. They rely on us offering support in Australia, from responsive people who understand both the technology and the context it's used in.

And so I'm pleased to announce we've joined the Australian Made campaign.
We're Australian, and proud of it!

   Introducing Nonprofit Online

Nonprofit Online logoWe are excited to launch Nonprofit Online®, the newest addition to our suite of cloud-based "Software-as-a-Service" (SaaS) packages for the third sector. It is built on our proven platform and modules that we’ve been developing since 2000.

Read More about business processes that Nonprofit Online helps and how it is delivered.

   Finance Code Upgrade

New Finance CodesWe've recently upgraded the Finance Code capabilities in various modules including the MembershipPLUS, EventsPLUS, and Conference modules.

As well as the General Ledger codes, you can now assign Class Codes and Account Numbers to pricing details.

Exporting Accounting Data to MYOB & QuickBooks

Did you know we can customise your export format for MYOB or QuickBooks to suit the specific version of the accounting software you have, and how you've set it up?

As well as exporting the accounting data, you can also export your customer data so your accounting system can get the customer information it needs.

When exporting orders, you can either export the whole list, or perform a search on the list of orders first (e.g. by date range), then export the restricted list.

The export links appear at the bottom of the order list.

Please contact us if you'd like us to customise your export, or if you need help with this functionality.

Wedding Bells for Antoine & Sarah

Antoine and Sarah signing the registry.A big congratulations to our Operations Manager Antoine Osanz who married Sarah Bragg on the 30th April. Antoine and Sarah met around 3 years ago through mutual friends.

I was lucky enough to see the ceremony at Harvest Farm in Healsville on a beautiful sunny day, along with around 75 others – including best man Dave Cunning and matron of honour Anna Corbin.

The reception was held at Rochford Winery, with a great night had by all.

Antoine and Sarah honeymooned in Prague, followed by a trip to the south of France to visit Antoine's family.

Job Opportunity - Business Development Role

With the growth of our Association Online clients over the last year, and a similar response anticipated for Nonprofit Online, we're looking for someone to fill a new Business Development role. Ideally, the person would have an understanding of the nonprofit sector, and experience selling online software.

Contact Neil Evenden for more information on 03 9723 9399 or neil.evenden@ivt.com.au. All enquiries will be treated in strict confidence.
