Future Climate, a not-for-profit organisation, has been established to offer 'climate-ready' strategies for individuals, business and government, that are appropriate for their lifestyle and/or business model.

IVT developed a carbon offsets calculator for Future Climate. The calculator uses an Adobe Flex interface allowing for a rich interactive user experience. Behind the interface, the calculator calls extensive mathematical calculations written in PHP which subsequently reads from data tables for calculation of carbon emission. Once the user has completed their emission calculations, they can offset their emission through an ecommerce purchase of trees or methane flaring.
