Our winter news includes a reflection on participating at Conference and Trade Shows this year and welcoming more new staff to IVT.
Participating at not-for-profit Industry Conferences and displaying at Trade Shows has become a fixture in the IVT calendar. The events attended so far this year have again been of a high standard, and we encourage you to attend in future. IVT will be participating in the Associations Forum National Conference next week, and the inaugural Not-forProfit People Conference in August, details are below.
At time of going to print we are approaching the milestone of the 100th organisation to move onto Association Online. Details on this organisation, and their case study will feature in the next newsletter.

IVT Business Development Managers Mal White and Lloyd Grosse have participated in five industry conferences so far this year, with another two upcoming in July and August.
Meeting hundreds of delegates and hearing a range of interesting presenters make these very worthwhile events on the Not-For-Profit calendar, and a great connecting point for IVT as industry service specialists.

Introducing Support Services Manager David Purdue, responsible for Systems Administration and the Helpdesk Team.
David’s appointment was prompted by the resignation of long serving System Administrator Dave Hunter who (sadly) left IVT on May 31 to further his career with a new challenge.
David brings a wealth of experience in System Administration and infrastructure technologies to IVT, with roles including Production, Support and Service Management.
Establishing a dedicated Support Team is another milestone in our growth as a product company, and prepares us for our increasing number of clients.

We also welcome Pia Argiratos to the IVT Team as our Product Trainer based in Sydney.
Pia is an experienced Association Online administrator in her role with ACIF, the Australian Construction Industry Forum. Building on this knowledge, Pia has undertaken a ‘train the trainer’ program over the last six months to familiarise herself with the new training material now available, as well as latest product features.
Pia is available for training / coaching assignments on a fee-for-service basis for our Sydney-based clients. Contact our Training Coordinator, Josephine Ferguson, for a training needs analysis, and tailored recommendation with cost estimate.

One of the many benefits of using Association Online and Nonprofit Online is the automated email function – particularly as it relates to membership renewals.
As you are probably aware, the system can automatically send up to:
- Three reminder emails Pre-expiry: to the member advising them that they can now renew their membership which will soon expire, and
- Three reminder emails Post-expiry: to the contact, advising them that their membership has expired, but it is not too late to renew.
As with many other functions in the system, the automated emails are controlled by settings that you can configure and edit. What you may not realise, is that this is a three step process.
If you are a system administrator, click here to find out more about this three step process.
